I have worked with 3 students of varying ages in the past. They were 9, 13 and 16. I am currently studying accounting at Durham University. I achieved an A in Maths (OCR) for A levels as well as a 9 in Maths GCSE (Edexcel)

I am a tutor that believes you are more likely to learn more when you have a positive learning environment. Therefore I try to make my sessions engaging, productive and enjoyable. In my sessions I will begin by assisting homework/work assigned by parents. I will then either have a discussion with the student about the topic and try to get my students to apply their knowledge with the discussion, and I will end with some questions that I will have made up by myself on areas I believe that my students are currently struggling with. I am also flexible and more than happy to have a discussion with parents about if they would like me to incorporate specific exercises or question into my session.
