About Rachel

I've always loved teaching, it's been a passion of mine since primary school, so my New Year's resolution 2023 was to attain this goal of teaching people. I love learning with all my heart and I want others to enjoy learning also. Many students don't believe in their capabilities, but I can assure you, you can become whatever you want to. Not only will I be your tutor, I will be your advisor, your friend so that you don't make the same mistakes I made. I received a grade 8'8 in GCSE Science, and now looking back I understand why I didn't get a grade 9'9 and I want to make sure that students understand the secrets to attaining the highest grades in science. Seeing people do better than me provides me with so much joy, I'm hoping to see this in 2023!

About the lesson

ACTIVE RECALL. Science has proven that those who receive the highest grade use active recall, not only will I teach you how to use this effectively but I will ensure that you ALWAYS fully understand a topic. The lesson length will differ, it is important to rest and not burn yourself out! Average 30 mins + I mentor a lot of youths in my church for a year now, and I am willing to expand my teaching to other environments. My lessons are for GCSE students, I will be teaching Chemistry and Biology, Combined or Triple. I am also willing to teach Year 12 students who are struggling with the A-level curriculum and need academic aid.
