About Elias
I am a sophomore undergraduate student at Yale University in New Haven, CT, studying Mathematics and Computer Science, where I am a grader for Yale's math department. I love thinking about how best to teach math, especially in developing an intuitive sense of the beauty of mathematics.
I have experience teaching math, clarinet, and musicianship individually and to small groups. In high school, received full scores on the SAT Math II Subject Test, the SAT Math portion, and the AP Calculus and AP Statistics exams.

Math education works best when it is highly personal, since every person has a unique relationship with mathematics. I believe that it is important to work closely with students to individualize instruction and optimize learning outcomes.
I'm happy to tutor any level of middle school and high school math including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus, as well as preparation for the SAT and SAT subject tests.
