About Sylas
I am a student who took the SAT at 13 and got over a 1300. I enjoy studying complex college-level math for fun and am eager to expand others' horizons on the subject. I have done stock market and complex system analysis that has been given affirmations of excellence from professional financial advisors. I have helped people with understanding math at a gifted school.

I am qualified and able to teach variety of different difficulty mathematical subjects as my lesson plan is flexible and adjusted to the student. I teach by trying to have the student discover the answers to problems by giving them hints and pushing them along rather than just telling them the answer but I am flexible and will try other strategies if this does not work. Part of what sets me apart is that I got a 1300 on the SAT at 13 and am currently studying for the P exam for college level actuarial science at 14. I am willing to teach up to 9th graders on mathematics with my specialties including algebra and pre-algebra.
