About Ajan
Hi there, I'm Ajan – and I'm excited to be your tutor! I’m someone who genuinely loves learning—and even more than that, I love helping others learn. Over the years, I’ve come to realise that understanding something new, especially after struggling with it, is one of the most satisfying feelings you can have. That’s the feeling I want to help you achieve. I started tutoring because I believe that education isn’t just about passing exams—it’s about building confidence, thinking critically, and learning how to solve problems independently. Whether you’re stuck on a tough concept, preparing for an important test, or just trying to get ahead, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I take pride in creating a space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow at their own pace. Teaching gives me the chance to make a real difference in someone’s life—and that’s something I care deeply about. I believe that effective tutoring begins with understanding each student’s individual learning style, strengths, and challenges. My teaching approach is student-centred, which means I adapt my methods to meet the specific needs of the learner—whether they’re a visual, auditory, or hands-on learner. Typically lessons are 1 hour long but I also offer 2 hour sessions. I am a university student at UOB studying economics but have achieved A/A* in Maths and Chemistry at A-Level. I have been tutoring in my free time for over 6 months now and aim to help students achieve their full potential. I offer lessons at both 11+ (Maths, Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning) and GCSE (Maths, Chemistry, Economics)
