My name is Abbey Clarke and I am a 20 year old student studying BA Hons Primary education at the University of Sunderland. I am a second year student, who has a lot of experience in both 1-1 tutoring and whole-class teaching.
I am a confident, patient and hard-working individual who believes that all children should have the right to learn.

My approach to teaching is hands-on. I believe children work best when they are able to experiment and have a go at things themselves. Modeling is also extremely important aspect within my tutoring sessions, as children can see what method/ approach they are expected to take. I am very supportive and patient during teaching, and willing to differentiate my approaches to suit your child's needs.
Lesson length would depend on your child's requirements, with the minimum lesson lasting 1 hour, to ensure your child gets the time they need to make a good level of improvement.
I have experience working 1-1 with children, in both a school environment, and private tutoring. I have 1 year of tutoring experience, in a range of different topics.
My lessons would be best suited for children aged 3-11, with lessons being individually tailored to meet your child's level of learning and academic needs.
