About Jordan

I am a Mechanical Engineering Major at the University of Maryland and I have been tutoring peers for 4 years unpaid throughout high school. Recently I have been helping other students increase their test scores by an average of 15%.

About the lesson

I am a patient and attentive tutor who can easily break a problem down into multiple different steps and methods to best suit the individuals learning style. I am focused and determined to help the student improve as much as possible, but I also try to make sessions somewhat fun and as pleasant as possible. I respond quickly to all messages and am very knowledgeable in my subject areas. I can tutor math up to and including AP Calculus, and science up to and including AP Physics 1
