About Madison
I have been playing bass and cello since I was in fourth grade, my primary instrument is bass but I still do play cello for the symphony orchestra at the University of MN Duluth and bass for the chamber orchestra. I was in all-state for two years in high school, honors orchestra, and won awards for solo/ensemble competitions. I have been teaching and giving lessons for about five years now.

My favorite part about giving lessons is watching my students grow and still keep the love of music they had before lessons (or if it's their first lesson-trying to help them create a love of music). I think that my way of teaching varies between students' age/abilities/what they want from taking lessons because not everyone wants to go be a professional musician, some just want a new thing to try which I think is great. My lessons are for any and everyone who wants to learn a new instrument no matter where they want to go with it.
