As for my method of helping students with the subjects in which they struggle most, I invest a lot of time in exercises: we know that science subjects are theory but above all practical! In fact, first I do some standard exercises, to understand where the student struggles most, and then adjust the shot, if necessary; once the standard exercises are internalized I move on to more reasoning exercises.
In case there are theoretical gaps, these are taken up and explained again during the exercise sessions
