About Kya
I have worked in 2 different middles schools; one as an AVID Mentor and the other as an Instructional Paraprofessional. I will begin teaching at the beginning of the next school year (August 2025). From my experience in education and my studies, I have found that students learn best when the educator is able to differentiate instruction. Which means they can tailor instruction based on individual student needs because not all students are the same.

Hi scholars! I think working with me would be best because I would like to figure out what is going to help you best learn the information you need. There are many different methods to use in math, and together we are going to help you excel by exploring them. I specialize in grades 4-8 mathematics and Algebra happens to be my favorite. I find math really fun, and I hope to instill a new outlook on math in you!
