About Balwinder Kaur
Hi, I'm Balwinder! I'm a first-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Construction) student at Curtin University, Perth, with a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science from the CBSE curriculum. I understand how overwhelming these subjects can feel, which is why I focus on how each student actually learns rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, and I'm patient with questions however many times they come up. My National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'B' Certificate gave me real discipline and strong communication skills, and I stay active in community service and volunteering at Curtin, values I bring into every lesson. Since I'm using these exact subjects daily in my own engineering degree, I can connect lessons to real-world applications, helping concepts click faster and stick longer.

I'm a first-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Construction) student at Curtin University, Australia. Tutoring Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science for middle and high school students (up to Year 12). My teaching method focuses on breaking concepts down step by step before moving to practice problems, to help students build genuine understanding rather than memorizing steps. A typical lesson starts with a quick recap, moves into explaining the concept with practical examples, then work on practice questions together, finishing with a few problems the student tries independently while I check their working. What sets me apart is a strong personal foundation in these subjects, combined with the discipline. I'm currently applying these subjects daily in my own engineering degree, which helps me show students why the material actually matters. My lessons are well suited to middle and high school students.
