Taking A-level Politics was one of the best decisions I ever made. It transformed my interest in politics into a plan for my future, and gave me the knowledge for the career I wish to pursue. I just hope to pass this love on to others, especially those who are struggling with the content and need further inspiration.

Politics is an endlessly fascinating subject, but also a daunting one. My teaching philosophy is to relate politics to everyday experience and individual student's viewpoints, to engage them as effectively as possible, and therefore keep learned information in their head. Lessons can be from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the requirements of the student and/or the breadth of the topic.
I achieved an A* at Politics A-level, and my current position as a student of the subject means that I am constantly immersed in the world of political discourse and knowledge. Citizenship studies at GCSE is very closely related to Politics and falls within my areas of expertise such as knowledge of government and the international system.
Lessons are for GCSE and A-Level students (age 14-18).
