About Owen
I'm Owen, a third year Computer Science student on track to graduate with a first class honours, and I'm heading into a graduate role in tech after finishing my degree. I have a particular passion for data science and enjoy helping others build confidence with programming and technical concepts. I know first hand how overwhelming CS can feel at university level, which means I understand exactly where students tend to struggle and how to help them through it. I'm patient, reliable, and committed to making sure every student leaves a session feeling more confident than when they started.

I'm a third year Computer Science student specialising in data science, with experience breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable concepts. I have three years' experience working with students ages 11-18, working as a student leader at my university. My lessons typically run for one hour and are fully tailored to you. I'll adapt my approach based on your learning style and goals rather than following a rigid structure. I'm comfortable teaching complete beginners through to university level students, covering Python, data science, algorithms, data structures, and general CS modules. Whether you're preparing for an exam, working through a tricky assignment, or just trying to build practical coding skills, I'll make sure you actually understand the material rather than just memorising it.
