About Palak

I’m a student, pursuing management from a University in the UK, in Leicester. I have arrived in India now and am looking to give private English tuitions to students in need. I have scored 7.5/9 in IELTS(The International English Language Testing System), which is an excellent score and is usually achieved by less number of people. It tests the writing, speaking, reading and listening ability in the language.

About the lesson

My approach would be structural, it is very important for the student to have clear concept of Grammar rules, and there is a particular sequence in which these are learnt. For eg: Before learning tenses, the student will first progress from Noun, then pronoun, then adverb and so on. Therefore, a sequential approach will be followed, which will make it easier for the students to wrap their heads around.
In literature, meanings and connotations of the stories and poems will be explained to the student, so they don’t only mug up the answers but also learn the intent behind it, as in, why the author chose to do this or that in the story or in the poem.
