I am a student who has not yet done any tutoring but is always helpful in giving help to others that need it. I achieved 9 A* equivalents and 3 A’s at GCSE and I am predicted A*AA at A-level.

I first approach teaching by having the student provide a past exam paper if they have one or make them sit one to gain an understanding of which topics they struggle on. Then ask personally which areas they struggle with the most. From here we will go through their weaker areas and work on improving them. The ultimate aim is to see this progress in exam situations and so testing after each topic would be done to ensure what they have learnt has effectively translated to a test scenario.
