About Emmerson
For years now, I've tutored people in my grade and below, and have especially helped my younger sister (age 11) and her friends. When I was younger, I needed tutoring for subjects such as math and science, more specifically topics such as calculus and stoichiometry, but was never able to find one that adjusted to my learning style; this is what I set out to do for others. I want to provide help for students who struggle in certain topics, and need learning suited towards them.

I approach teaching in a way that will best fit the student’s needs. I’m flexible between visual learning, auditory learning and kinesthetic learning, and any combination of the three. I enjoy watching the kids succeed and have a new grasp on the concepts I help with. Especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, kids of all ages have been set back in certain areas depending on how sufficient online school was. My English lessons span from kindergarten levels to 9th grade, and my biology lessons specifically suit a 9th-10th grade curriculum. My lessons are specifically to help with understanding a subject, but not as a primary introduction.
