About Adam

Who I am:
I am a 17-year-old high-achieving secondary student studying in an international curriculum in Mauritius. Being close in age to my students allows me to relate easily, break down challenging topics without intimidation, and connect through modern, engaging learning methods.
Why I want to teach:
I genuinely enjoy helping others experience that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. Having recently navigated these same academic stages myself, I know where students typically struggle, and I want to bridge that gap—helping younger learners build real confidence, strong study habits, and a genuine love for learning rather than just memorizing for exams.

About the lesson

Interactive 1-on-1 Academic Coaching (Primary & Lower Secondary)
Methodology:
I focus on building confidence and strong study habits. Lessons are fully interactive, breaking down concepts step-by-step to make learning clear and stress-free, with regular progress updates for parents.
Lesson Format:
Standard sessions are 60 minutes, structured into a quick homework check, direct concept teaching, and hands-on practice.
Qualifications & Experience:
As a high-achieving secondary student in an international curriculum, I offer a fresh understanding of modern syllabi. I specialize in 1-on-1 mentoring for Mathematics, French, and general homework support.
Target Audience:
Ages/Levels: Primary and Lower Secondary students (Ages 6–13).
Format: Available for online and in-person sessions (Beau Bassin-Rose Hill & nearby).
