About Iakov
I am currently a 3rd year student at ESMA, a school renowned for its excellence in the field of special effects and 3D animation. In the midst of preparing my final film project, I am putting to good use all the skills I have acquired over the past few years. Thanks to many other projects I have had the opportunity to work on, I have been able to develop a wide range of technical skills in modeling, rendering, compositing, texturing, lighting, and much more.
My journey at ESMA allowed me to touch on all facets of visual effects production, and to understand the technical and artistic challenges specific to each stage of a project. Whether in character creation, animation, or the integration of elements in complex environments, I acquired a global vision of the workflow and production methods.
Alongside my studies, I also discovered a real passion for tutoring. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping new students better understand the tools and techniques we use in the field. I had the opportunity to accompany them in their first projects, helping them overcome technical obstacles and develop their own working methods. This mentoring role allowed me to refine my communication and pedagogy skills, essential qualities in a field as collaborative as that of special effects.

Modeling, 3D Animation, Rendering, Lighting & Compositing Courses
I offer personalized courses to learn or improve skills in 3D modeling, animation, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing. We will work with professional tools such as Maya, Nuke, RenderMan, Arnold, Substance Painter, and Photoshop/Affinity.
My goal is to teach you a quality workflow, clear methods to understand and improve your projects, while providing you with personalized support.
This course is for beginners, those who want to discover the field, as well as students who want to deepen their knowledge or have a better understanding of their courses. Together, we will cover the fundamentals while developing advanced techniques to allow you to progress quickly.
