About Hollie
I am a student who has studied English at both GSCE and A level, receiving high grades throughout my school career. During my A level years I volunteered to tutor GSCE students who found English to be a challenging subject, including students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Through reading, spelling and writing exercises, I was able to see my students progress and improve in their English Exams, and come to the realisation that they could do anything that they put their minds to!

In my lessons I use interactive starter activities to get students in the zone, followed by teaching the main objective of the lesson and a summary/quiz to solidify the newly learned information. I have 2 years experience of tutoring GCSE level students on a 1-1 basis, allowing me to get to know students individually and tailor lessons to their specific needs. Lessons are typically 1 hour and are aimed at GSCE students
