About Alessandra

I am a 21-year-old student, enrolled at Trinity College Dublin where I study English Literature; I graduated in 2019 from the MT De Vincenti Magistral Institute (Rende, CS).
In addition to the normal didactic path, I was able to improve my language skills through experiences such as the Early Music Festival of Urbino (meeting artists from all over the world), trips to foreign cities such as Dublin, Salzburg, and Nancy, and continuous conversation with native speakers. I have a C2 level Cambridge certification. My current university experience in Dublin is what has definitely solidified my knowledge of the English language and literature.

About the lesson

I prefer an individual approach in order to better tutor the students; I prefer the use of textbooks to be coupled with secondary reading in English and possibly the use of digital material. In general, these will be very flexible methods that will adapt to the needs of the student. The topics of the lessons may vary according to the level, the class attended, and any knowledge gaps. In addition to an excellent basis of grammar, production, and comprehension (written and spoken) I can also offer lessons focused on literature (in the case of students attending the 3rd / 4th / 5th year of high school). My lessons are mainly aimed at middle school and high school students, but I can also help adults who want to learn a new language for personal and/or professional reasons.

Ho conosciuto Alessandra tramite amici comuni e notando la sua propensione per le lingue, in particolar modo l'inglese, le ho chiesto di far fare un percorso di studio a mio figlio di quasi dodici anni che aveva notevoli lacune sia in italiano che in inglese.
Dopo iniziato un percorso di studio organizzato da Alessandra ho notato in mio figlio già dopo le prime lezioni un approccio allo studio più responsabile.
Consiglio Alessandra perché ha saputo coinvolgere mio figlio nelle materie da studiare in maniera più consapevole facendolo anche appassionare alla lettura.
