About Janelle

My name is Janelle, and I'm here to support each student's success, whether in mathematics, English, or preparing for their future studies. Why choose me? An outstanding academic background: as a student at EDHEC and a former student of King's College London, I understand the expectations of top institutions. Patience and effective teaching: I explain concepts simply and clearly, taking care to adapt to each student's pace. About the lesson

I enjoy sharing my knowledge in an accessible and motivating way. Whether it's mathematics or English, I strive to make learning concrete and tailored to each student's needs, so they can progress with confidence and efficiency. In addition, I also support students with their academic and career guidance and the preparation of their university applications (Parcoursup). Mathematics: I begin by focusing on understanding fundamental concepts, explaining them clearly and progressively. I use exercises adapted to the student's level, moving from simple problems to more complex ones to reinforce learning. Typical lesson structure: 1) Quick needs assessment: we review any points that were unclear or current homework. 2) Explanations and examples: I ensure that the basics are well understood by reviewing key concepts with concrete examples. 3) Practice: it's time to work on exercises or practical situations to apply the concepts covered. 4) Feedback and advice: we correct together, and I give advice on how to improve (methodology, time management, etc.). My courses are intended for middle and high school students.
