About Arabella

I am a 19 year old Classically trained advanced flute player. i am currently enrolled in the bachelor of music at WAAPA ( Western Australian Acadmey of performing arts) and am loving it. i have been playing the flute for over 12 years and want to be able to share my passion and love for the instrument and music to others.

I have a lot of competition/ exam and concert experince playing as a soloist, in symphony orchestras and flute choirs.

My hope for my future students is that I can make music fun and not something which is mundane and hard, I believe that the first stages of learning any instrument are crucial for the musician you become.

I am a passionate and hardworking individual and music means everything to me and it’s what i want to pursue

About the lesson

I’ve undergone many years of weekly lessons through school and out of school and now at university, i was taught through the suzuki method and would be happy to teach that way but i also did AMEB grading and exams so can do that too. However for beginners and those who just want to have fun and play music i can accomodate that aswell.

Lessons duration: 45minutes or 1 hour

I have done some teaching/volunteering for my previous flute tutor and have been the leader of schools flute choirs and bands taking sectionals and helping the younger flute students with note and rhythmic learning. I am yet to have any of of my own students but have been encouraged to start teaching privately and am very excited to follow the footsteps of my teachers and mentors
