I hardly prefer to use the textbook language as I myself found it dull & dimming the curiosity inside me in school days. I will interact in a casual way, as I always do while explaining scientific concepts, and make it interesting and intriguing for the students to expand their brain and imagine! The only time I'll look at their textbooks is to see their syllabus and number of concepts used, that's it.
