About Adam

Hello! I’m Adam, I will be starting a MA Public Policy course at King’s College London this September. I am awaiting graduation from Royal Holloway University of London in BA Politics. At A-Level I studied Politics, History, and Computer Science, achieving A*AB respectively. I am very passionate about politics and chose to study it at university because of the way it constantly shapes our world today. My passion for the subject translates into my teaching, where I strive to help students succeed in the subject area.

Previously, in my final year at university I tutored second year students studying Politics, and helped them in understanding the subject, specifically research methods and data analysis. I have experience working with a range of students and can adapt support and advice to ensure that each individual student receives the tailored support that they require, according to their needs and abilities.
I am a supportive, encouraging and patient tutor, whose knowledge of the subject area ensures all students receive the help and support they need to progress in this subject.

About the lesson

I offer 1-1 tutoring for Politics and History. My sessions are targeted at GCSE, A-Level and Degree level students.

My sessions involve both subject knowledge and essay technique, as both are equally important in succeeding in this subject area. My online lessons are interactive and are adapted according to each individual student's needs. A personalised and supportive approach tailored to each student's needs ensures progression and greater subject knowledge.
As every student has different needs and learning styles, I ensure that a personalised programme is created to meet the needs of each individual student. Every session is planned ahead according to the student's needs to ensure that the potential of each session is maximised.
Lessons will last up to 1.5 hours, consolidate subject knowledge, and include the practice of exam techniques to ensure that each student is fully prepared for exams.

I achieved an A* in A-Level Politics and a BA in Politics. I have recently graduated and am starting a MA in Public Policy.
During my final year at university, I tutored second year Politics students on a module I completed in my second year. I tutored in seminars, both with individual students and a group of students, and ensured that their knowledge of politics and data analysis progressed.
