About Hannah
I am a student in 6th grade. I have experience tutoring my family members and peers. I help my classmates and my cousins with their homework and schoolwork. I have taken a Pre-Algebra class and I am in an advanced math class. I find it fun to teach kids and I cater lesson plans to their needs. In every lesson, I will always have something fun for your child to do in the lesson or something to have after the lesson is over. My goal is to make learning fun for kids. I play 4 instruments and can also help your child with music too!

When I'm teaching kids I try to create a steady but fun and interesting way of learning. I will provide effective tools to help kids remember what they've been taught. In a typical lesson, I would first see where your child is at in what they are learning, then I would find an effective way to teach them by asking them questions such as "Do you find learning fun?" or "What do you struggle with in a classroom?". From there I would make lessons depending on their own needs. I have been helping my peers with their homework and classwork for a while and working with them has shown me that not every kid can pick up on things as fast as others so it's important to see the pace that people tend to work at. Some people might say that since I'm still referred to as a "tween" or "teen" I am not old enough or mature enough to be a tutor. My goal as a tutor is to help kids succeed in their work and prove that some kids are mature enough to be tutors as well. The lessons I am providing are for K-6 students that are mainly struggling or just need help in math.
