About DrAnusuya
Hi! I’m a passionate educator, data enthusiast, and tech leader who absolutely loves helping people unlock the beauty of numbers.
My own academic journey took me through some incredible places—I completed my Master’s in Mathematics and Computing at IIT Kharagpur and went on to earn my PhD from IIT Bombay, focusing on Applied Mathematics, Data Science, and Operations Research. Along the way, I also picked up an executive certificate from IIM Kozhikode.
While that looks like a lot of heavy text on paper, my actual relationship with math and tech is quite simple: I think it’s incredibly cool, and I love sharing that excitement with others!
Why I Teach?
Over the years, working in both high-level research and tech leadership, I’ve realized that the most brilliant concepts are often hidden behind overly complicated jargon. I became a tutor because I love breaking down those walls. There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching a student go from "I'm completely stuck" to "Oh, wait, is that all it is?!"
Outside the Formulas
When I'm not diving into data structures or solving optimization puzzles, you can usually find me exploring new ideas in product management, keeping up with the latest tech trends, or just enjoying a good cup of coffee.
I don't believe math or computing should feel like a chore or a source of stress. I’m here to be your teammate, your cheerleader, and your guide. Whether you're aiming to master data science, survive a tough university module, or just build up your confidence, I can’t wait to help you achieve your goals!

If you’ve ever felt like mathematics, computing, or data science were written in a foreign language, you are in the right place! My classes are designed to take the intimidation out of numbers and replace it with those satisfying "Aha!" moments.
With a background as an IIT Kharagpur alumnus and an IIT Bombay PhD, I’ve spent years navigating complex concepts. But as your tutor, my goal isn't to lecture you—it’s to translate the heavy stuff into light, practical, and everyday ideas that actually make sense.
How We Learn Together
