About Surya
I'm Surya, a 3rd year student at IIT Madras - one of Asia's
most competitive engineering universities. I got in by
clearing the JEE, one of the hardest entrance exams in the
world, where Physics and Mechanics are a core part of the
test.
I've spent years breaking down complex physics problems under
pressure, and I know exactly where students get confused —
because I've been through it myself.
I'm patient, straightforward, and I genuinely enjoy the
moment something clicks for a student. I won't make you feel
bad for not knowing something. We just figure it out together.
No experience with online tutoring is needed on your end -
just show up, and we'll work through it.

These sessions are built for high school students who feel
lost in Mechanics - the ones who stare at a problem and
don't even know where to start.
We don't rush. Each class begins by figuring out exactly
where you're stuck, then I break the concept down from
scratch in the simplest way possible. No jargon, no
assumptions.
A typical session:
- First 10 mins: identify the problem area
- Middle 30 mins: concept explained simply and clearly
- Last 20 mins: solve problems together until it clicks
