About Nathan

Maths can feel challenging, but with the right support, it can become much clearer and more manageable. As a dedicated Maths tutor, I enjoy helping students build confidence, overcome difficulties and realise that they are capable of improving step by step.

I am currently studying Mathematics at Queen Mary University of London and have a strong academic background, including A* grades in both A-level Maths and Further Maths and a 9 in GCSE Maths. This has given me a deep understanding of the subject and the ability to explain ideas in a clear and simple way.

I am friendly, reliable and committed to helping students make steady progress. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for higher grades, I want to support them in reaching their potential.

This is why I want to teach. I know how important confidence is in this subject. Many students are more capable than they think, but they need guidance, encouragement and the chance to practise regularly. My goal is to help students feel more comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and that they are improving over time.

About the lesson

I offer clear, patient and affordable online Maths tutoring for students from primary school up to GCSE and A-level. My lessons focus on helping students understand topics properly, learn from mistakes, build confidence and improve their exam technique.

I am currently studying Mathematics at university and achieved A* grades in both A-level Maths and Further Maths, giving me a strong academic background in the subject. I also have experience supporting students with Maths, including working as a private tutor, a KS3 classroom assistant, and being a PASS Mentor in my second year of university, where I supported first-year students with their studies.

In lessons, I explain ideas step by step, work through examples with the student, and then practise exam-style questions to check understanding. By adapting my teaching to each student’s level and learning pace, I aim to help them make steady progress, improve their grades and feel more confident in Maths.

Lessons are usually 1 hour and take place online. My aim is to make Maths feel clearer, less stressful and more manageable.
