About Amy
My name Is Miss Viljoen and I am a young teacher with a passion for teaching. I studied a 4 year B.ED in the intermediate and senior phase (grade 4-9). I specialized in mathematics as a subject. Math's can be a very difficult subject to teach as many learners struggle with the subject, however I am here to help you gain confidence in the mathematics classroom by using demonstration i.e. using visuals to help understand all concepts. I am a strong motivator in the classroom.

Math's can be a very abstract concept, therefore before I expect the learners to grasp the concept entirely, I ensure that they are able to comprehend what is happening realistically. I do this by using a demonstrative teaching style. I teach in English, but am also comfortable to teach in Afrikaans. Any learners between the ages of 8 and 15 are welcome in my classroom.
