About Ali
My name is Ali Mohamed, I'm an 18-year-old Egyptian student who recently completed my IGCSE examinations. Having just gone through the entire Cambridge curriculum myself, I understand exactly what the experience feels like from a student's perspective — the pressure, the confusion, and what it actually takes to perform well on exam day.
That firsthand experience is what drives my approach to tutoring. I remember which concepts felt impossible at first and how I worked through them, which means I can explain things in a way that genuinely makes sense to someone sitting where you are right now rather than someone recalling it from years ago.
I'm passionate about Economics & Business Studies, and genuinely enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, logical steps that stick. My goal with every student is straightforward — understand your weak points, target them directly, and walk into your exam feeling prepared and confident.

I teach IGCSE Economics & Business Studies, with a focus on exactly what Cambridge examiners want — because I'm currently sitting these papers myself.
My approach is straightforward. Every session starts by identifying where you're losing marks, then we work specifically on those gaps rather than covering everything generically. I use past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports as the core of every lesson because that's what actually translates into better grades on exam day.
Sessions typically run 60 minutes and are structured but conversational — I explain concepts clearly, we work through questions together, then you attempt similar ones independently while I give real time feedback on your answers.
My lessons are designed for students aged 14-18 preparing for Cambridge IGCSE or O Level examinations, particularly those targeting the May/June or November exam sessions. Whether you're aiming to push from a C to a B or from a B to an A, the approach adapts to where you are and where you need to get to.
What makes my tutoring different is proximity to the material. I'm not recalling this from years ago — I'm working through the same syllabus, the same mark schemes, and the same exam pressure you're facing right now. That makes explanations more relatable and practical than what most tutors can offer.
All sessions are conducted online, making them accessible to students anywhere in Malaysia regardless of location. Physical sessions may be arranged too.
