About Aadya
Hey! I’m Aadya — I’m 18, based in Singapore, and I’ve just graduated from the IBDP curriculum. I scored A*s in both Literature in English and First Language English in IGCSE, and English has always been my strongest (and favorite!) subject. I’ve consistently been praised by teachers for my writing and communication skills, and I’ve received school awards for English across multiple years. While I’m just starting out as a tutor, I’ve spent years helping friends and my younger sibling with essays, grammar, and literature analysis, and I’ve discovered that I really enjoy breaking things down in a way that makes sense to others. I also run a personal blog with over 3,000 followers where I share my short stories, thoughts, and creative writing. As an 18 year-old IGCSE 2023 and IB 2025 graduate, I understand the pressure students face — because I’ve been through it myself, and succeeded. I scored A*s in both IGCSE First Language English and Literature in English, and a Grade 6 in IB English Language & Literature SL. I’ve consistently topped my school in English-related subjects and received multiple academic awards for excellence in writing and literature.
My lessons are personalised, friendly, and results-driven. I believe every student has a unique voice and learning style, so I tailor my approach accordingly — whether it’s breaking down grammar rules, crafting stronger essays, or analysing texts with confidence. I use interactive discussions, practical exercises, and clear step-by-step strategies to make English feel less intimidating and more empowering.
