About Macca Xinlei
As a recent postgraduate (aiming to start my PhD in the next year), I am very fond of the academic context and very much enjoy being on both ends of the relationship; learning to teach is also learning how to learn.
I find it very fruitful and derive much joy from the endeavour of helping those with a passion to learn through the difficult journey of language learning or analytical thinking.

My biggest strength lies in teaching tried and tested tricks to learn the English language intuitively (e.g. how to recognise common prefixes, suffixes, and etymological roots).
I offer lessons of any length and frequency starting from 1 hour a week. Both in-person, online or a hybrid learning model can be arranged, all according to your schedule!
I can also accommodate students of any age (from young children to adults), at any level of fluency, and at all educational levels.
