About Thais

I am a circus artist, since 2013 I have been working in the air circus field. I teach classes for children and adults, and private training.

The activity will be developed in five pillars.

Strength: Practice will assist in the development of specific physical strength.
Working muscles that are not commonly exercised, providing
a more strengthened and prepared body.

Stamina: The activity will also provide for the development of
muscle endurance, improving the functional capacity of the muscles and
reducing localized muscle fatigue. Preparing a body for a more independent and healthier
aging.

Flexibility: The work of flexibility and mobility is one of the pillars of
greater body benefit in and out of classes and its development occurs
directly and indirectly. Improving body posture,
coordination capacity and body awareness. It increases local blood circulation,
decreasing energy expenditure, reduces muscle tension and the risk of
injuries.

Self-knowledge: In addition to developing body awareness, exploring
the limits of own body. The activity challenges and allows us to see the
world from other perspectives. It opens your eyes to new angles and
atmospheres, always instigating self-knowledge.

Wellness: As a last pillar, art is also responsible for releasing endorphins and serotonin (happiness hormones) substances in the
body that
increase blood oxygenation, the sensation of pleasure and the relaxation of
muscles, alleviating symptoms of anxiety and stress.

We will always start the class with a general warm-up of the body followed by a specific warm-up of the muscle we are going to work on.
Focusing also on prevention, constantly working on breathing and muscle strengthening, for a healthy and effective gain in flexibility and mobility.
