About Ashley
Teaching provides a grounding contrast to the high-frequency trading world I occupied for many years. Whiteboard markers smell like fresh opportunity compared to the stale air of a hedge fund office. After 9 years of tutoring, I find that connecting abstract concepts to physical reality remains the most efficient way to teach.
I bring the rigor of a Stanford aerospace degree and 12 years of Boeing engineering to our sessions. My approach covers trigonometry, calculus, and algebra alongside coordinate geometry and mensuration. I incorporate Vedic math techniques to build speed while maintaining the structural integrity of your problem-solving strategies.
Conceptual learning is the bedrock of my method. I am taking a 1-year sabbatical from industry to focus on your success before returning to engineering.
