About Donal
I attend Melbourne High School, the top selective school in Victoria and I have received the trophy as the Highest Individual scorer in the Australasian Maths Olympiads. I have plenty of experience (over 10+ years) tutoring math to my peers, helping the teachers and teaching my students plenty of secrets to boosting their grade and understanding concepts better. I have also received numerous awards such as a Distinction for my Melbourne University Mathematics project as well as a Distinction for the Australian Mathematics Competition. In addition to Math, I love everything. I wish to teach others my style of studying to effectively retain information without overloading one's mental capacity. I believe it is my duty to ensure my students receive premium education and a boost in marks, and I hope we can do so together :D I believe that life balance is crucial as a student, so I partake in numerous extracurriculars, sporting commitments (State champion in many sports such as Cross Country and Swimming) and many academic, instrumental (as a prodigy violinist and pianist) and language commitments (as the 2024 & 2025 Chinese reading competition winner). I never teach boring lessons. Math is notorious for being repetitive and seemingly boring, but I bring joy to my lessons that every student enjoys. Lessons typically last 1 hour, but can be adjusted to students' needs. Homework load is perfected so that every student receives personalized loads and difficulties that will not stress them, and will not make them complacent.
