About Jonathan

The key to academic success is passion. With passion and genuine interest in a subject, a student is bound to succeed even in the most daunting circumstances. Self-motivation drives the student to study hard and excel in academics. This is why I strive to instil interest and passion for Math/Science in my students by explaining concepts in the most interesting and fun way possible. I have graduated from the A-Levels program with A*s in Physics and Mathematics and As Economics and Further Mathematics (91% in AS Further Mathematics). I have been accepted into multiple top universities worldwide, such as UCL and the University of Toronto. My academic honours include the British Senior Physics Olympiad Gold Award, British Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad Gold Award, Sir Isaac Newton Exam Distinction Award (Top 215 in the world), SAT Physics Subject test 800/800 (Perfect Score), Malaysian Astronomy Olympiad Gold Award, IELTS Band 8.0 and 180 IQ score on MENSA test.

About the lesson

I provide teaching materials on the Microsoft OneNote Platform which allows all notes or mathematical workings/solutions that I make during the class to be readily accessible to students after the class for revisions purposes. Thus, students do not need to take notes during the lesson and will save a lot of time and energy which can be used to focus on the class instead. My scientifically proven teaching method of planning (well-structured teaching), delivering (clear and concise presentation of concepts) and repeating (asking relevant questions to test understanding) is highly effective. I have graduated from A-Levels with straight A*/A results and have a perfect score in SAT Physics Subject Test as well as respectable experience as an A-Level Physics tutor. I offer Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and Physics tuition for high school (SPM/IGCSE or equivalent) as well as A-Levels (Physics and Mathematics only). I also offer tuition for Maths/Science subjects for primary school and lower secondary school students.
