About Julian
My mother is a university professor and my father is a writer. As you can imagine I grew up in a household where writing was considered something very important and I have learned a lot about writing from them. I am a straight-A high school student that is very passionate about reading, creative writing, and non-fiction writing (e.g., blogging, newspaper articles). I am a voracious reader and I read about 4 novels every month. I have been writing a blog since I was 11 years old so feel free to visit at (concealed information) I have experience with teaching several kids English as a second language while living in the Netherlands as well as a tutoring program I did in elementary school.

I will create an environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking. Of course I will strive to teach your child all the fundamentals but I will also tailor my teaching to your child's needs. I am ready to go above and beyond for your child's necessities (e.g., extra hours, unconventional times). I encourage questions and will always be supportive and encouraging. I will make sure that your child is ready for a test or quiz by doing practice questions with them (made by myself if his/her teacher does not provide them).
