About Esther

As a kind, passionate, and extremely patient student who has just finished my GCSEs with predicted straight 9s, I have a fresh, firsthand understanding of what it takes to succeed in today's exams. I know that academic success isn't just about hard work—it's about feeling supported and confident. Because I am deeply passionate about these subjects and exceptionally patient, I create a calm, stress-free space where no question is a silly question. I want to tutor future students to share the exact revision habits and exam techniques that worked for me, helping 11+ candidates and GCSE Foundation students break through difficult topics at their own pace and realise their full potential.

About the lesson

My Approach & Teaching Methodology
I break down complex topics into clear, bite-sized concepts. Having recently sat my GCSEs and achieved straight 9s in my mocks, I know exactly where students lose marks and how to navigate the current exam specifications. My lessons are highly interactive and structured around three core pillars: Concept Mastery (understanding the "why"), Exam Technique (decoding mark schemes), and Active Recall (targeted practice to ensure information sticks).

Lesson Structure & Length
Typical Length: 1 to 2 hours per session.

Because subjects like Maths, Sciences, and English require deep focus and thorough explanation, a longer session ensures we can cover the theory, tackle tricky examples together, and leave plenty of time for practice without feeling rushed.

Qualifications & Experience
Recent First-Hand Success: I have just completed my GCSEs, achieving straight Grade 9s in my mock exams and predicted all 9s.

Up-to-Date Expertise: Because I have just been through the exact same system, I have a fresh, firsthand understanding of the current curriculum, exam stress, and the revision techniques that actually work.
