About Syed A
I am a dedicated and patient math tutor who enjoys helping students understand concepts clearly and build confidence in their abilities. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and teaching style to meet their individual needs. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop strong problem-solving skills and feel more confident when approaching challenging math problems. I create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions and learn at their own pace.

I make math easier to understand by breaking difficult topics into clear, manageable steps. As a Stony Brook biology major currently taking Calculus 2, I understand the challenges students face when learning new math concepts. My lessons are tailored to each student's level, whether you're working on homework, preparing for an exam, or building stronger fundamentals. We’ll work through problems together, identify areas of difficulty, and develop strategies you can use independently. I teach high school students in algebra, geometry, and other areas of high school math, with a patient and supportive approach.
