About Isabelle
I'm an education professional and native New Yorker well-versed in coaching, teaching, curriculum design, and project management. My goal as a freelance tutor is simple: to empower individuals to achieve their academic and professional development goals through practical and fun frameworks. I value each learner's story: their ideas of success, challenge areas, and the things THEY want to accomplish. I strongly believe in a relationship-centered partnership and am excited to see how I can positively impact clients. All of my tutoring services include a 30-minute FREE introductory conversation with the client and/or clients' parents. So let's chat!

For all STEM tutoring sessions, I kindly request a pre-session overview of what the student wants to focus on. This could include the client sending me via email any materials they'd like to go over. During each session, I also focus intentionally on the actual learning process; I ask questions and work towards helping clients understand the information using their own words. I don't just "do" the work -- I EXPLAIN it and the importance of my process. I make sure we're on the same page regarding the goal(s) of our session, and leave clients understanding what we've accomplished and what next steps are!
