About Pratyasha

Hey! My name is Pratyasha and I am an awarded Chairperson in the ESU Churchill Public Speaking Competition - The largest Public Speaking competition for schools in England and Wales. I have talent in singing, dancing (hip hop) and anchoring programs. I am a current brown double-white belt in Martial Arts (Karate) awarded with consistent distinction grades, and have undergone leadership roles as Deputy Head Girl throughout secondary school. I have worked with industry leaders from Amazon (AWS), Dyson, BP and Pfizer for research projects and have delivered countless presentations. Having also written an innovative biotechnology scientific report with mentors from the University of Cambridge, this has allowed me to strengthen my scientific research, analysis and referencing skills! From delivering countless project presentations in front of Amazon industry leaders, receiving consistent distinction awards in Karate competitions and being awarded 'Best Chairperson' in Round 2 of the ESU Churchill Public Speaking Competition, I have great experience with delivering eloquently and confidently on stage and demonstrating leadership qualities through voice and body language. About the lesson

A** GCSE English and A* GCSE Maths achiever - Patient, persistent and friendly tutor! - I understand that every student learns differently, so I’ll tailor my teaching methods to suit your individual learning style and pace. - As a patient tutor, I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where you can feel comfortable asking as many questions as you need (as I was once this student in class too!) - I am also a public speaker, hence I stress the importance of communication in lessons! In our tutoring lessons, I may ask you for your thought process of how you got to a specific answer, which will help your critical thinking skills! - Along with the content, I will equip you with effective study strategies and problem-solving techniques that have helped countless students excel in Maths and English - I provide constructive feedback and strategies for improvement, helping you turn weaknesses into strengths. (Be prepared for some light homework!) - Any time during the weekends/weekday evenings works perfect for me! Please let me know in advance for booking/rescheduling (I only take lessons online)
