About Busisa

Hello and welcome! My name is Busisa Mayana, and I am thrilled to be your teacher for this academic journey. Before we delve into the exciting world of Food Science/Maths/Natural Science/English, I want to take a moment to share a bit about myself and what you can expect in our time together.
I left High School with distinctions on sciences subjects and maths.
My passion for these subjects goes beyond the textbooks, driving me to continuously explore innovative teaching methods that cater to diverse learning styles.
My utmost priority is your success and growth. As your teacher, I am here to guide, support, and challenge you. I firmly believe that every student has the potential for greatness, and my role is to help you unlock and nurture that potential.

About the lesson

I genuinely love teaching, and I bring this enthusiasm to every lesson. In addition to teaching mathematics and equations, I also want to instill a love of problem-solving. When students witness my passion for math, it usually sparks a similar passion in them. I am proficient in English, Xhosa, Spedi, Tswana and Zulu. I am able to teach in English and can explain in these other languages for understanding.
Every lesson begins with a warm welcome, setting a positive tone for our time together. I'll provide a brief overview of what we'll be covering, ensuring that students feel prepared and excited for the upcoming lesson.
Throughout the lesson, I maintain an open-door policy for questions and clarifications. I want students to feel comfortable seeking clarification on any aspect of the material, fostering an environment where curiosity is valued.
