I am a dedicated professional currently serving as a Research Programme Officer at the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) here in Malta. My academic background includes a Master of Science in Statistics and Data Science from the prestigious Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich, as well as degrees in Economics and Philosophy.

With over four years of experience in high-level institutions—including the Deutsche Bundesbank, the European Commission, and Deloitte—I have developed a deep expertise in financial analysis, risk monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.

My approach to tutoring: Bridging Theory and Real-World Data Science

Hi, I’m Anil. My teaching methodology focuses on "Intuitive Learning." Instead of just memorizing formulas, we will focus on understanding the logic behind statistics. Drawing from my M.Sc. at LMU Munich and my current professional experience as a Research Programme Officer at the EUAA, I bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application in R, Python, and Excel.

What to expect:

Techniques: I use an application-oriented approach. We work with real datasets to solve problems, making abstract concepts like regression or machine learning tangible. My background in Philosophy helps me explain complex logical structures in simple, everyday language.

Lesson Length: Typically 60 minutes for standard topics, or 90-minute "Deep Dive" sessions for complex projects or thesis support.
