Hi, my name is Colin! I am a student at Yale University studying statistics and data science. I am a huge sports fan, so I really enjoy using sports in my lessons as I think it definitely makes math a lot more fun.

My lessons are for middle and high school students seeking help in any math class. My extensive background in math and my love for teaching should set me apart as a tutor.
Each lesson will be broken up into three main sections. First, there will be an initial teaching phase where I will go through the relevant materials. Second, there will be guided practice and examples. Finally, the lesson will open up for some individual practice problems. This is the time when the student's skills will be put into action, and it is also a critical time to ask specific questions.
With math in particular, I understand the importance of active studying. My lessons will prioritize practicing a wide variety of problems, with an emphasis on the various applications that math entails.
