# About me
Hi, I’m Claudia! I’m from Peru and I’ve also lived in Mexico, two countries where Latin music and dance are part of everyday life.
I started dancing salsa and bachata through the culture around me — at gatherings, social events, Latin nights and with people who genuinely love the music. That’s why my approach is friendly, natural and focused on helping you feel the rhythm, not just copy steps.
I’m not here to train professional dancers. I’m here to help beginners feel comfortable, confident and less shy on the dance floor. I know how intimidating it can feel to start, so I keep my lessons relaxed, patient and fun.
If you want to learn salsa and bachata from zero, understand a bit of the Latin culture behind the music, and finally feel confident enough to dance at socials or parties, I’d love to help you start.

My lessons are designed for complete beginners or people with a basic level who want to feel more confident dancing salsa and bachata in real life — at socials, parties, Latin nights, or even on their own at home.
I teach in a relaxed, patient and easy-to-follow way. We start with the basics: rhythm, timing, footwork, body movement, simple turns and combinations you can actually use on the dance floor. I also help you feel more natural with the music, instead of just memorizing steps.
A typical lesson is 1 hour, but we can adapt the pace depending on your level and confidence. No pressure, no judgment — the goal is to enjoy the process and feel comfortable moving.
My lessons are perfect for adults who are starting from zero, feel shy dancing, or want to learn the foundations of salsa or bachata before going to social dancing events.
I have learned and danced salsa and bachata through Latin culture in Peru and Mexico, and I love sharing not only the steps, but also the feeling, energy and confidence behind the music.
