About Haris

Hi, My name is Haris and I am currently an A-level student doing Maths, Psychology, Chemistry. I really like to teach since I attempt to inspire confidence and motivation in students.

I believe that I would completely understand students as I was in a similar position to them not too long ago, so I would give my full support and guidance to them.

If they want to ask any questions outside of lessons, they are allowed to do so by just messaging me.

I like to keep parents updated on their child's progress regularly and letting them know what they are doing well at and what they could improve on.

Having recently achieved A stars in these subjects, I know exactly what examiners are looking for and breaking down tough topics into smaller chunks.

In my first lesson I would tend to set aims with the student first on what they would like to achieve and discuss how they have progressed recently, so I get a good idea and grasp on what to plan for my lessons by asking them what they struggle with and want to get better at.

About the lesson

I do exam-styled questions, past paper questions and go over mark schemes to make the student understand what the question is asking.

I like to get to know the person I am teaching so I understand what they like, their strengths and weaknesses.

I offer all 3 subjects of Maths, Chemistry and Physics for GCSEs.

For Primary Level I offer all subjects.

If you cannot attend a lesson it is completely reasonable, but make sure to let me know at least 2 days before the lesson.
I may set homework from time to time but not a large amount as I understand students are busy with school work.

Weekend lessons would be perfect for me.

Details

Prices vary depending on the level of education I am teaching.

Primary- £15 hourly
Secondary- £17 hourly
GCSE- £18 hourly

If you do lessons twice a week with me, I offer one of the lessons for £4 less than my standard price for one of the lessons.

E.g. GCSE student does 2 lessons a week meaning they pay £18 for one lesson and £14 for the other one.
