About PhD-level Help

I consult in the fields of statistics / biostatistics, probability, stochastic processes, econometrics, actuarial science, finance and optimization. I hold a PhD in Statistics and a graduate degree in Finance from Stanford University. During my five years at Stanford I taught more than ten probability & statistics courses. After graduation, for more than a decade, I have been working in financial industry focusing on projects pertaining to machine learning, computational statistics, time series analysis, financial engineering and quantitative proprietary trading. Equally importantly, I have tutored students and business professionals in all areas of statistics and quantitative finance for the last nine years. I have consulted researchers in social and medical sciences regarding statistical aspects of their research for eleven years.

About the lesson

I help with homeworks, exams, papers, presentations, dissertations, analytics development and data analysis in any of the major statistical packages: R / RStudio / SPlus, Matlab, Stata, SPSS (including AMOS), EViews, SAS, JMP, Minitab, WinBUGS as well statistics & optimization add-ons of Excel. As my experience shows, I work with all types of clients, from high school students to full professors in other fields. Typically, I tutor via video-conferencing and desktop sharing in Skype (hourly rate; 2 hours minimum per session) or submit the complete analysis via e-mail (fixed price).

The hourly rate starts at £50 per hour and increases with complexity of the material... Selected areas of expertise: regression, hypothesis testing, generalized linear models, ANOVA / ANCOVA / MANOVA, robust statistics, PCA, factor analysis, SEM, Monte Carlo simulation, Bayesian statistics, Markov Chain Monte Carlo, missing data imputation, machine learning, unsupervised learning, signal processing, panel (longitudinal) data, advanced probability theory, meta-analysis, stochastic calculus, Markov processes, renewal processes, random fields, statistical genetics, survival analysis, GWAS, market risk, pricing of financial derivatives, MBA finance, statistical strategies, financial economics, linear programming, convex and integer optimization, stochastic optimization, numerical methods, statistics in psychology, sociology, political science and economics.
