About Carmen

As a second-year Sydney University law student, I find myself immersed in legal studies while also enjoying other facets of life. Music, particularly playing the violin and guitar, serves as a creative outlet for me, offering moments of relaxation amid the demands of my academic pursuits.

In addition to music, I have a soft spot for cats and enjoy their company for their unique blend of independence and affection. Staying physically active is another priority for me, whether it's hitting the gym or exploring the outdoors, as it helps me maintain focus and balance in my daily routine.

My long-term ambition is to become a barrister specializing in corporate insolvency law, driven by a desire to provide strategic legal guidance to businesses facing financial challenges. This goal motivates me in my studies and shapes my approach to learning and growth.

In tutoring, I leverage my diverse interests and experiences to create an engaging and supportive environment for students. My aim is to foster academic success while recognising and respecting individual passions and interests.

As a tutor with three years experience, and currently studying a Bachelor's degree Law / Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Sydney, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. Leveraging my background as a Sydney University Law student, I infuse sessions with analytical prowess and a profound comprehension of complex texts, ensuring a holistic learning experience that transcends how seemingly 'difficult' English may present.
