About Arshad
I achieved an A+ in SPM Mathematics and obtained 9A's in my SPM examination. During high school, I was the Head of the Mathematics Tutor team, where I helped my peers improve their understanding of Mathematics. I have experience tutoring students from weaker academic backgrounds, and most of the students I guided achieved A and above, with the remaining students achieving B and B+.
My lessons are suitable for primary school students and secondary school students up to Form 5. As I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in English Education, I also focus on clear communication and making complex ideas easier for students to understand.

My approach to tutoring focuses on understanding the student first before deciding the best method to teach them. I believe every student has a different level of understanding, so my lessons are personalized based on their strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace.
During my lessons, I focus on building a strong foundation of mathematical concepts rather than relying only on memorization. I use simple explanations, relatable examples, and step-by-step guidance to help students understand the reasoning behind each solution. I also like to make lessons more engaging by using familiar situations and memorable examples, including inside jokes when appropriate, to make difficult concepts easier to remember.
A typical lesson will take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student's needs and the topic being covered. The lesson usually includes reviewing previous knowledge, explaining new concepts, practicing questions together, and identifying areas that need improvement.
