I am an outgoing, open, and friendly teacher who prioritizes building a comfortable and trusting relationship with my students so they never feel embarrassed to ask questions - even the ones they might think are “too dumb.” My dedication drives me to go above and beyond in addressing their doubts, and I’m always willing to learn alongside them when exploring new or unfamiliar material.

My teaching style centers on collaborative planning and clear expectation-setting with my students; if a student is aiming for a B, I’ll partner with them to stretch that goal toward a B+ or A. I strongly believe in open engagement, working through questions together to build real confidence, and giving low-pressure, direction-focused “tests” to ensure they are on track without adding unnecessary stress. Ultimately, my goal is not only to help students achieve their desired grades, but also to cultivate a positive learning mindset and strengthen their confidence so they feel empowered to learn independently * Lesson Length: 1.5hr * Experience 1. Coaching English debate and oral skills in a primary school since 2023 2. Designed and conducted highly effective Persuasion and English Language workshop at the Little Towkay Speech academy (ages 7-14) 3. Finalist at the Oxford British Parliamentary Debates 2022 4. Plain English Speaking Award winner 2018, 2019 * Primary, Secondary English * Debate, Public speaking and Interview preparation for students of ANY age.
